Tegus..
I have cut back on tegus due to my past divorce and because I have a baby girl on her way. She is going to demand much of my time. I do still have a handful of tegus left that I will attempt to breed each season. Check back in summer.
Our Tegu Attention Video

About Us

Here at Sisco Reptiles we are committed to producing healthy, tame and beautiful reptiles.

We produce healthy, beautiful Ball Pythons in a variety of color and pattern morphs. We have many beautiful Normals, Pastels, Super Pastel, Mojaves, Yellowbellies (aka het Ivory), Orange Ghost, Cinnamon Pastel, Spiders, Pinstripe, Butter, Albinos & Piebald Ball Pythons.

These animals are not merely a source of income for us. These animals are our pets. We raise and breed these animals because we take huge pleasure and enjoyment in interacting daily with these animals. As such, all animals are kept in the best possible conditions.

We produce not only tame tegus, but the most social Tegu lizards around. We raise and breed white-headed Argentine Black & White Tegus. We also have powder blue, platinum blue, and high white South American Blue Tegus.

Anyone who knows me personally, knows me as being tegucentric. Everything in my life centers around my tegus. I do not 'make time' for my tegus. I 'make time' for everything else. My tegus are not only very tame, but they also seek my attention. They follow me around the yard, the enclosure, the park, the house, etc.. They do not give up until they finally get to rest on my shoulders, against my chest or cradled in my arms. I spend several days every week at the local park, where my tegus free roam. They swim in the park pond, they bask on the rocks, and they follow the local kids around the park until the kids pet them. When I am ready to leave, I use a clicking device used to train dogs, and my tegus come back to me and ride home on the dash of my Pontiac Firebird.

My tegus are not farm raised. I only raise a small handful, this allows for me to give them the attention they deserve. They are loved pets and are socialized all day long. When the tegu eggs hatch I clean and hold the hatchlings immediately so they learn to bond with humans.

Do Tegus Seek Human Attention? (Mine do!)
