I have cut back on tegus due to my past divorce and because I have a baby girl on her way. She is going to demand much of my time. I do still have a handful of tegus left that I will attempt to breed each season. Check back in summer.

Deposits - How does it work?


We are now taking deposits on 2007 hatchling tegus.

To avoid confusion and to keep the transaction as smooth as possible, I will detail the procedure for making a purchase with a deposit.

1: Browse the available list for the tegu species you are looking for. If we are taking deposits on the species you are looking for, it will list an Expected date, a Price, and a Deposit amount.

2: Make your Deposit payment with one of the two methods below..

* Postal Money Order via United States Postal Services: Send a Postal Money Order in the amount listed. Send a letter with your full name, physical mailing address (no PO Boxes), phone number, email address & what type of tegu you are reserving.

* Paypal: Send a Paypal payment in the amount listed. In the Paypal payment memo field submit your full name, physical mailing address (no PO Boxes), phone number, email address & what type of tegu you are reserving.

Note: Any payment made with Paypal is subject to a 5% processing fee.

3: We will contact you once the Deposit has been received. You will be told your position on the Reservation list for that species.

4: On or before the Expected month, you will be contacted with more specific information regarding your hatchling(s) and a more specific expected date will be supplied to you. Payment must be made in full on or before that date, along with applicable shipping charges.

5: When the eggs hatch. The hatchlings will be sexed, given an ID and photos will be taken and placed online. People who have placed Deposits will get first picks, based on the order in which their Deposit was received.

6: Once the hatchlings are ready and your payment has been paid in full, your tegu(s) will be shipped out to you via UPS Next Day Air.

Note: Deposits are 100% refundable if for any reason we are unable to supply you with the tegu(s) you put a deposit on. However, deposits are only refundable for that one reason. We can not refund deposits for any other reason. Online processing fees & shipping costs are not covered under our refund policies.
